What You’ll Be Doing
- Requirement Analysis – Review product requirements and tickets critically, ask clarifying questions, and ensure acceptance criteria are clear, complete, and testable
- Test Planning & Scope Definition – Define test approach, scope, and priorities for features, enhancements, and bug fixes, balancing coverage with timelines and business impact
- Test Preparation – Prepare and maintain clear test notes, checklists, or test cases as needed to support effective execution and regression coverage
- Test Execution – Perform manual testing across features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on tickets and acceptance criteria
- Quality Validation – Conduct sanity, smoke, regression, and end-to-end testing to ensure product stability and reliability
- Data & Workflow Validation – Verify data integrity and consistency across screens, modules, and user flows, including edge cases and negative scenarios
- Cross-Platform Testing – Ensure consistent behavior across browsers, devices, and mobile environments
- Bug Management – Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and impact assessment
- Collaboration – Work closely with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders throughout the sprint cycle to clarify requirements, validate fixes, and support delivery
- Release Support – Support testing and validation during releases, hotfixes, and high-priority production updates, adjusting scope as needed
- Post-release Validation – Monitor production issues, validate fixes, and contribute to root cause analysis when needed
- Continuous Improvement – Contribute to improving QA practices, test coverage, and risk awareness
What You’ll Bring To The Table
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in manual QA for SaaS, web, or multi-platform applications
- Solid understanding of end-to-end user workflow testing and real-world scenario validation
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on data accuracy, test completeness, and overall product quality
- Ability to work independently, manage testing scope, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Clear and structured communication in English (written and verbal)
- Familiarity with cross-browser, mobile, and negative testing approaches
- Strong ownership and accountability for quality outcomes, including follow-through on defect validation and resolution
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify risks, edge cases, and gaps in requirements or test coverage early
What Would Be Nice To Have
- Experience working with SaaS platforms (e.g., CRM, workflow automation, field service tools)
- Familiarity with test documentation, checklists, or test suites management
- Exposure to API testing tools (e.g., Postman)
- Awareness of third-party integrations (e.g., Stripe, Twilio, QuickBooks)
- Experience leveraging AI tools to support QA activities (e.g., generating test ideas, improving bug documentation)
